Client Population:
Adults, couples, families

Appointments:
Daytime, some evenings

Payment Options:
Cash or check; some insurance

Therapy Styles:
My approach to therapy is cognitive behavioral in a psychodynamic context. This means that we look at how your thinking affects how you currently feel and act. We also take your history into account and see how it influences your life at present. This applies to individuals and couples as well as families.

Areas of Expertise:
I like helping couples deal with major difficulties, including problems related to infidelity, sexuality, loss of a child, and troubled family interactions. I also work with couples where one has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, and with people who have children or adolescents going through difficult times.

Other information:

I agree with Einstein: "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." My favorite quote, though, is Pascal's: "The heart has its reasons that reason cannot know."
