Therapy Styles:
I have been a licensed therapist in private practice since 1991. My style is warm, supportive, challenging and intuitive, creative, and grounded in my extensive education, training, and personal and professional experience. I use a wide variety of tools, including inner child work, guided visualization/hypnotherapy, cognitive-behavioral work, assertiveness and communication skill building, dream interpretation, belief/reality-checking using The Work of Byron Katie, narrative therapy, stress and anger management, conflict resolution, mediation, meditation and mindfulness training, and EMDR.
Areas of Expertise:
I help you develop deeper self-love, empowerment, ease and integrity--in your relationships with self and others. Specialties include self-esteem, depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, childhood issues, grief and loss, spiritual concerns and general life confusion.
