Therapy Styles: I make an effort to be attuned to your needs in the moment. My belief in the therapeutic relationship as a safe space for experiencing one's self at a deeper level and in a new way strongly influences my work, which draws on comtemporary relational psychoanalytic thinking. Together you and I will try to make sense of the vast range of your experience including feelings, thoughts, behaviors, the past, present, and what may be happening in the immediate moment. In addition to helping with your current symptoms, therapy can help reduce self defeating behaviors, improve relationships and enable you to eperience a more satisfying life.
Areas of Expertise: People seek therapy for many reasons. I enjoy working with individuals and couples presenting with a range of issues. These might include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, eating disorders, loss and grief, life transitions.
