Client Population:

Therapy Styles:
Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral interventions and Voice Dialogue techniques influence my practice.

I develop a strong working relationship with clients by listening for what is important and establishing a set of attainable goals that reflect their concerns. I help clients comprehend what they feel and translate what others are saying. I enjoy witnessing strengths and encouraging efforts to see what is already working and what is possible to change.

I am a skilled parent-trainer with a broad understanding of developmental and attachment issues. I have specific training in reactive attachment disorder (RAD), attention deficit disorder (ADD), child abuse trauma, and child and adolescent development. I study relationship dynamics and theory. I comprehend the powerful impact of domestic violence and chemical dependency.

I love this work because I enjoy encouraging and witnessing clients as they embrace their challenges, learn to value themselves, communicate with clarity, and develop productive and happy lives for themselves and in relationship with others.

Areas of Expertise:
I assist individuals and families through times of crisis when communication has become challenging and counter-productive. I work with adolescents and adults who are addressing child abuse trauma, symptoms of depression and anxiety, developmental struggles, conflict and frustration. I address mental health and chemical dependency issues and work for stabilization and positive change.

Other information:

Please feel free to contact me with your specific concerns. I provide individual and group supervision to associates working to obtain their licenses in Clinical Social Work. I can assist with professional consultation, and I will make referrrals to therapists with other areas of expertise as well.
