What We Are

NWTherapyNetwork.com consists of a group of therapists who share a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and to providing caring, competent therapeutic services. The purpose of this site is to provide an easy way for visitors to learn about these therapists, and also about the many different kinds of therapy available. To the best of our abilities, we have tried to include counselors who have a personal connection with other listed therapists, as a way to create a quality listing.

What We Are Not

We are not a referral site, and inclusion in this site is not a recommendation of any of the therapists. The member therapists pay a fee to be a part of this service. We solely list the information that has been provided to us, and do not guarantee its accuracy. We do not accept liability for any statements or actions of the therapists or organizations listed here. The therapists listed herein, along with the organizer of NWTherapyNetwork, assume no responsibility for the practices of the other therapists on the site.

Our goal is to provide an easy way to learn about many different therapists. It is up to you, through proper due diligence, to discern which one is right for you.

A Note Concerning Therapists' Ethics

It is good to keep in mind that having a degree in counseling does not remove the personal issues of the therapist. As with any occupation, the counseling profession is subject to instances of misconduct. Each licensed therapist is subject to a code of ethics and standards of practice that are defined by the state licensing board from which they received their licensure through. You can contact your states? Department of Health consumer affairs board if you ever have concerns regarding the practices of your licensed / certified counselor / therapist.

If we become aware that a therapist has been found by the Department of Health to be engaging in unethical behavior, they will be removed from this site.

For legitimate reasons, not all therapists choose to go the route of state licensure, nor are counselors and therapists required by the state to be licensed. Most insurance companies require licensure in order to reimburse practitioners. All the therapists on this site are highly skilled and trained in their particular practice modalities and have been recommended to this site by one of their peers already on it.
